I have been using my GE E1035 Digital Camera for a year and have taken many pictures for a 30 minute powerpoint presentation containing 180 pictures.  The quality of the camera and lens is great and the picture quality is excellent.  The camera is easy to use with the automatic mode but there is also a manual mode, panorama mode, portrait mode, scene mode, stabilization mode, movie mode and playback mode.  It has a 10 megapixil lens and has a 3x optical zoom and 4.5 digital zoom (combined zoom 13.5X).  In the playback mode, you can use the zoom to see parts of the picture close up.  This will give you an idea of what cropping could do for the picture.  It also has face detection and red-eye removal.  For the price, it has about everything you would want.  The only drawback that I have found, is when using the camera in the bright sun, it is hard to see the image on the LCD display.  You won’t go wrong with this camera.
