Ok, I have to admit that I wasn’t a hard core guitar hero fan at first. Heck I don’t even remember the first 3 when they came out, but when I finally bought Guitar Hero 4 I was totally hooked. I would be on it for hours and i just loved the instrumental guitar rifes as well, just couldn’t wait for the fifth one to be released. When it finally did i was so psyched, but was slowly disapointed by the stupid band style gameplay. I mean what happend to guitar hero just being about the guitar play? If I wanted all the band crap I would have just stuck with Band Hero or Rock Band. I mean don’t get me wrong the songs they’ve picked for the game are great, but they’ve made it more about the band aspect and practically put the guitar part on the backburner. I just think it is really sad when a good game is tarnished because of a band craze.
