I greatly enjoy my PS3. It’s much better than my PS2 or my Nintendo 64. The graphics are so much better and even though it’s can’t play some of the old classics, there are still some good new games out there that I do quite enjoy. I really like it and blah blah blah. The [...]

Was that headline mean? I’m sorry, but the silliness of this story, which centers around one couple’s quest to annoy/sue the hell out of their entire apartment building, warranted it. The ridiculous story unfolds like this:
On Saturdays, Dr. Dena Coleman and her husband Gordon claim they are imprisoned in their condo because the landlord went [...]

For a device that took a solid year to go from “debuting at E3” to “shipping,” we’re pretty surprised to see that Nintendo’s Wii MotionPlus held as much steam as it did. With overall video game sales dropping in June for the first time since 2000 (when looking at year-over-year figures, anyway), the Big N [...]

Earlier this year, Nintendo announced it was joining forces with Smash Bros. designer Masahiro Sakurai’s Sora Ltd. to found a new company, Project Sora.
Nintendo is the principal investor, owning up to 72 percent of the company.
The company is hard at work at a game, but it’s not another Smash Bros. title. Sakurai added, “I [...]

In part three of our four part Bonus Round discussion, Geoff Keighley, Michael Pachter, Shane Satterfield and I wag our tongues about waggle controls. What’s left to talk about? Plenty!
Pachter expresses his thoughts on the bundling opportunities for Project Natal and the Xbox 360, the cheaper PlayStation 3 with PlayStation Eye packed in, and the [...]

Summer bonuses in Japan may have plunged this year, but that didn’t stop Nintendo from reclaiming the top spot as the company with the biggest bonus ranking.
Japanese companies traditionally deliver bonuses to their employees in the summer and winter, a practice that our own Brian Ashcraft tells us is losing popularity in the face [...]
