When the console wars started, I already had a history of owning nintendo consoles. I guess this is why I choose to stick with this trend and picked up a gamecube. First off, there were very few launch titles that I liked. As the years went on, I got absolutely sick of the same franchises that nintendo has. Years were spent wishing I had bought an xbox because of the better game library, better graphics, and ability to hack your xbox for it to function as a media center. The gamecube is designed for little kids and although nothing in particular is wrong with its hardware, its software library was what kept it behind. Many third party developers opted to stick with PS2 and Xbox so the nintendo missed out on a lot of cross console titles. Although Metroid, Zelda, Resident Evil, are great games, I for one am done with nintendo consoles and I will be picking up a Playstation 3 soon. I should have just spend the extra $100 way back then.
